Google’s Director of Analytics Marketing Appointed President of the DAA

The Digital Analytics Association (DAA) has appointed Casey Carey, Director, Google Analytics Marketing, at Google as president for the organization’s 2015-2016 year. Carey has a storied marketing career, which includes serving as CMO of Adometry and holding marketing leadership positions at DoubleClick, Epsilon, Monsoon Commerce, and Webtrends, among others. He is one of several new appointees to the DAA’s slate of directors. 

The DDA reelected three directors, including Target Marketing President Jim Sterne as chair; Steve Petitpas, general manager, Microsoft.com, Production Studios & Events, at Microsoft Corporation as VP of marketing; and FedEx Services Marketing Principal Ned Kumar as treasurer. The organization also elected Eric Feinberg, senior director, product strategy at ForeSee by Answers, as its VP; and Robin Chiang, VP of product measurement, testing and intelligence at First Data Corporation as secretary.

Additionally, the DAA elected five new directors to its board for two year terms. The new board members are Chiang; Colin Coleman, VP of customer insights and analytics, Personal Solutions Group at Equifax; Adam Greco, senior partner of Web Analytics Demystified; Deanna Pagano, global director, digital analytics, for MetLife; and Amy Sample, senior director, digital analytics, at Public Broadcasting Service. Two board members, Kumar and Petitpas, were reelected.
