Global Document Solutions, a provider of electronic and print-based customer communications, acquired Best Strategy, a Hayward, CA-based integrator of on-demand printing, mailing and Web technologies, GDS said yesterday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
GDS, New York, said the acquisition gives it a presence on the West Coast and will help expand its tech-driven solutions. Best Strategy will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of GDS.
Founded in 1906 as American Direct Mail, GDS' main services include statement processing, customer data management, web-to-print applications, variable digital printing, electronic document delivery and management of print facilities. Best Strategy's services include data distribution management, print on demand, digital print, creative design, state-of-the-art letter shop, focused software marketing delivery, and extensive lead generation, seminars and support.
