He helped grow DoubleClick from a start-up to a firm with $500 million in revenue and over 3,000 employees worldwide at the time he left.

Salzman comes to YCD from comparison shopping site ShopWiki, where he served as chief operating officer. Salzman holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

YCD delivers and manages dynamic programming and training applications for retail environments, working with brands including Philips, McDonald’s, Giorgio Armani, Toyota, MasterCard and Hilton to create on-site media environments. The firm is backed by leading venture capital firms Pitango Ventures and Arts Alliance.

As CEO, Salzman will be based in New York with co-founder Noam Levavi, who will now assume the title of president, responsible for business development initiatives, media and product development strategy. Co-founder and chief technical officer Dani Zeevi will remain in Israel overseeing development and operations there.
