Fingerhut, Net Perceptions Combine Strengths

E-commerce software provider Net Perceptions Monday said it would combine its customer relations systems with direct marketing firm Fingerhut’s consumer database to increase both companies’ online and offline business.

In the agreement, Fingerhut Cos., Minnetonka, MN, will leverage its database containing information on more than 30 million customer households. Net Perceptions, Minneapolis, will deploy its broad-based technology for Fingerhut’s eight Internet sites. Financial terms were not disclosed.
