Ex-President Bush to Open DMA's Fall Conference

Former President George Bush will give the keynote address at the Direct Marketing Association's 84th Annual Conference & Exhibition, which will be held Oct. 28-31 at the McCormick Place hotel in Chicago.

Bush will share his perspective on domestic and international issues, with particular emphasis on trade, the U.S. and global economies, Internet policy and other topics that affect the direct and interactive marketing industry. The conference is the world's largest event for direct and interactive marketers.

Since leaving office, Bush has written two books, “A World Transformed,” co-written with Gen. Brent Scowcroft; and “All The Best,” a collection of letters written throughout his life.
