*Equifax to Debut TotalSource Solutions

NEW ORLEANS — Equifax, Atlanta, will unveil its TotalSource Solutions suite of database marketing tools at next week's Direct Marketing Association's 83rd annual conference in New Orleans, the company said yesterday.

TotalSource Solutions is composed of eight products and services for Equifax clients.

TotalSource Data Enhancement appends demographic, lifestyle and other information to clients' customer and prospect files. It also offers Claritas' ACE-Indicators, which provides consumer financial data aggregated to the ZIP-plus-four level.

The TotalSource XL file offers clients 105 million individual households and more than 200 million individual consumers. The file is also accessible in a Web format called TotalSource XL Online.

Hispanic TotalSource is a segment of TotalSource XL containing more than 3.3 million Spanish-speaking households.

The TotalSource Postal Purifier attempts to minimize undeliverable mail by using the U.S. Postal Service National Change of Address system as well as Equifax's TotalSource Change of Address database.

Through e-Enhancer, clients can send files to Equifax for list hygiene and enhancement over the Web.

Credit-card clients can use TotalSource Invitation to Apply to target solicitations using ACE-Indicator variables.

Equifax's Direct Marketing Solutions division created the TotalSource Solutions tools.
