Worldwide data supplier Equifax announced July 9 that it had acquired The Decisioneering Group Inc., a Phoenix firm described in a company statement as a “transformation 'think tank' and recognized leader in knowledge engineering and strategic consulting solutions.” According to the statement, Equifax will offer clients more data analysis and strategic consulting than it has in the past. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Thomas Blischok, chairman and CEO of Decisioneering, will serve as vice president of Equifax's knowledge-engineering unit, a new business unit formed with the acquisition.
