Epsilon to Absorb Frequency Marketing

Epsilon, a provider of multichannel marketing services, technologies and database solutions, said yesterday that Frequency Marketing Inc. will be integrated into Epsilon to strengthen Epsilon's marketing services and loyalty offerings.

FMI provides marketing services and technology solutions for the design, implementation and management of loyalty marketing programs. Clients include Verizon, Best Buy, American Express and LaQuinta.

Epsilon is based in Wakefield, MA, and FMI is based in Cincinnati. The offices will remain intact. FMI management will report to Epsilon chief operating officer Bryan Kennedy.

The integration follows Epsilon's acquisition in September of Bigfoot Interactive (now Epsilon Interactive), a provider of strategic, ROI-focused e-mail communications solutions and marketing automation technologies.

Epsilon touted the continued build-out of its portfolio.

“Our expanded offering gives marketers access to best-of-breed solutions focused around key customer and marketing optimization initiatives,” said Mike Iaccarino, president/CEO of Epsilon.
