Epsilon Records Strong Quarter

Marketing services provider Epsilon said yesterday that revenue for the first quarter, which ended March 31, increased 26 percent to $30.5 million from $24.2 million in the same period a year earlier.

Corey V. Torrence, who joined Epsilon as president/CEO in October 1999, attributed the firm's results to practicing what it preaches — strong customer relationships.

“During a time of economic challenges, clients rely more than ever on the delivery of results,” Torrence said. “By creating solutions in collaboration with our clients and our best-of-breed partners, we are not only willing but eager to be held accountable for results.”

Epsilon, Burlington, MA, said it also continues to increase its employee base in response to growing demand for customized marketing solutions. In 2000, Epsilon announced expansions to its Dallas and Washington facilities, and it expects to hire 200 new employees by the end of 2001.
