DoubleClick Inc. is readying a new integrated database solution for mid-market catalogers called ClearEDGE, the New York company said yesterday.
ClearEDGE gives catalogers access to their data as well as campaign management, reporting and analytics. The Web-based system was designed to provide midsize catalogers with tools for their market without the cost of a custom solution, DoubleClick said.
The solution incorporates DataEDGE, DoubleClick's data hygiene and list processing tool. ClearEDGE also can be used in conjunction with DoubleClick's multichannel measurement tool, ChannelView.
ClearEDGE is in testing but DoubleClick hopes to roll it out after July. Catalogers beta testing the solution include Flax Art & Design, TechnoScout and Swanson Health Products.
DoubleClick's catalog cooperative database Abacus Alliance contains about 400 mid-market catalogers.
