Online advertising technology services firm DoubleClick Inc. bought Klipmart Corp., a provider of online video advertising and management offerings for Web publishers, agencies and marketers.
The acquisition combines Klipmart’s video and DoubleClick’s DART Motif and DART ad management technologies. Klipmart’s customer service and quality assurance will be merged with DoubleClick’s operational skill set, global reach, scalability and technology infrastructure, DoubleClick said.
“Coupled with DoubleClick’s ad management and workflow platform for digital media, we’ve created a comprehensive rich media solution suite for video and non-video enhanced ad units,” said David Rosenblatt, CEO of DoubleClick, New York.
Klipmart is based in New York, with offices in Los Angeles, London and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
