BMW of North America LLC tapped Dotglu LLC, New York, as its new customer relationship management agency of record.
The appointment comes three months after the German automaker's Woodcliff Lake, NJ-based arm began a search for a CRM agency. Dotglu will work with GSD&M, the lead agency that recently won the BMW national brand and advertising account.
BMW tasked Dotglu to handle CRM and direct, database and interactive marketing for the North American subsidiary. The agency also will redesign the site at www.bmwusa.com.
Part of Canadian-owned MDC Partners, Dotglu handles accounts like Beech-Nut, Verizon, Gap Inc., Edward Jones, Citibank AAdvantage, Seiko, Mohegan Sun and Kao Brands' Jergens, Biore, Ban, John Frieda and Curel labels.
