Interactive marketing services provider DMi Partners bought America’s Best Barbeque, a Kansas City, MO-based online retailer and distributor of brand name grills, smokers, barbeque sauces and other grilling foods.
DMi takes over operations, fulfillment, vendor relationships, accounting, marketing, public relations and customer service.
The Philadelphia company also will improve the site at www.americasbestbbq.com along with management of search engine marketing, shopping portal integration, affiliate marketing, online media buying and customer relationship marketing.
Terms were not disclosed.
America’s Best Barbeque last year posted revenue of $3.5 million. Company founder Shad Rockstad will take the vice president of merchandising’s post with this acquisition.
