Katie Muldoon, president of Muldoon & Baer Inc., and America Online will receive the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation's 2004 leadership awards, the DMEF said yesterday.
Muldoon will receive the Edward N. Mayer Educational Leadership Award. Ed Mayer, a DMEF founder, died in 1975. The award recognizes an individual involved in direct marketing education. Muldoon has more than 30 years of DM experience, wrote several books on catalog marketing and served as an assistant professor at the New York University Center for Direct Marketing.
America Online will receive the Corporate Leadership Award for its contributions to direct and interactive marketing education.
The awards will be presented at the foundation's annual awards dinner Oct. 16 during the 85th annual Direct Marketing Association Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans.
