The Direct Marketing Association today announced the addition of two new senior vice presidents—Jane Berzan to direct programs and Cliff Johnson to lead membership and marketing initiatives.
Johnson joins the DMA from the National Association of Manufacturers, where he was a VP. Previously, he served as research director of the Corporate Executive Board, where he directed marketing for the Sales Leadership Roundtable and the Marketing Leadership Roundtable.
Berzan takes responsibility for DMA’s conferences, trade shows, and professional development courses. As SVP of the National Association of Convenience Stores, she directed one of North America’s top 50 trade shows for 12 years. She sits on the board of Conventionplanit.com and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives. Since 2008, she’s managed her own strategic marketing and communications consulting firm.
“The key to providing top value to members is exceptional programming supported by exceptional marketing,” said DMA president and CEO Linda Woolley. “We are delighted to welcome Jane and Cliff to manage and optimize these two strategic areas at DMA.”
