DM2 Offers Free Webcasts

DM2 launches a series of Webcasts this month free to the industry on direct marketing topics, the business-to-business list management and brokerage firm said yesterday.

The DM2 Insight Webcast series begins Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. CST with a session titled “Are You Safe? — Security Is Your Issue, Are You Prepared?” that will cover overcoming CAN-SPAM Act issues; best practices for handling opt-outs; protecting customer information; and need-to-knows for finding permission-based lists. The 30-minute session will feature a representative from National Instruments and Denise Moser, privacy director for Reed Business Information.

After the initial program, Webcasts will be scheduled every other month. Upcoming topics include e-mail deliverability, international marketing, direct marketing legal checklist and testing.
