Data warehousing systems provider DirectCom, West Paterson, NJ, unveiled its Syntact DMS database marketing system, a Windows-based database system allowing marketers to access, analyze and leverage customer data files. The system integrates with existing software and has a point-and-click graphical user interface.
According to DirectCom, Syntact DMS' data mining capability gives users the means to segment their database into logical clusters based on historical data and demonstrated behaviors. After a target audience has been identified, the system narrows the search to find the most profitable customers within the segment. Other features include Syntact's Customer Profiling Module, predictive model scores, a 3-D Profit component delivering in-depth information on customer profitability and the Syntact Campaign Analysis Module.
