Digital Impact Inc., San Mateo, CA, an online direct marketing solutions provider and Coremetrics, San Francisco, a business intelligence solutions provider, yesterday announced a partnership designed to enhance online direct marketing campaigns.
Under the terms of the agreement, Digital Impact and Coremetrics will join forces to integrate, market and sell their complementary services to enable businesses to execute highly targeted, measurable direct marketing campaigns that influence prospect behavior and deepen customer relationships.
Digital Impact's technology platform, Impact, facilitates online direct marketing in an integrated environment including data management, marketing campaign analytics, campaign management and message delivery. Digital Impact will extend the capabilities of the Impact technology platform by integrating it with Coremetrics' Core Data Platform and eLuminate Commerce Web analytics service. Coremetrics' Core Data Platform is a data warehouse of online customer behavior for analysis using eLuminate Commerce, custom reporting by Coremetrics and integration with third-party applications, such as the Impact technology platform from Digital Impact.
Both companies said the alliance will be beneficial to direct marketers because Coremetrics gathers and provides comprehensive data on customer online behavior, and Digital Impact will use that data to further enhance the quality of online direct marketing campaigns.
