Datran Media partners with MadeforChina in expansion into China

E-mail marketing firm Datran Media has expanded into the Asia Pacific market following an investment in Chinese e-mail and online marketing firm MadeForChina.

Terms of the deal were undisclosed. The move is part of Datran Media’s international expansion into the Asian marketplace.

“Asia is a burgeoning market and one of the fastest growing online communities in the world. Nearly 40 percent of Internet users currently reside in Asia, or approximately 400 million,” said Matt Keiser, president of Datran Media, New York. “ Marketing dollars are following, and Datran Media will be positioned to capitalize on this through its investment in MadeForChina, who works with brands like L’Oreal, Ford and United Airlines.”

With the new partnership, MadeForChina is being positioned to be the Datran Media of Asia. The partnership will involve technology collaborations, as well as the cross-marketing of our joint services to each company’s respective client base.

The partnership is part of Datran’s bigger global expansion plan to reach into the European, Asian and Latin American markets.

“Datran Media is uniquely positioned to translate the success it has experienced in the U.S. to other global markets,” Mr. Keiser said. “Datran Media is currently working with European partners, invested in China, and it is expected to move into the Hispanic and Latin American markets shortly.”
