DataDetroit.com, a Motor City-based automotive-specific Internet job board, said yesterday it is presenting a “Vehicle of the Future” design contest to spur page views.
The contest is targeted at high school students throughout North America, but DataDetroit.com said it hopes to drive more people to its site through the contest. DataDetroit.com will create an exclusive section of their current National Automotive Employment Web site to administer the contest. The site will contain a general information page, rules, entry form and a poster, which can be printed in high school classrooms.
The contest will begin later this month, judges will be named in March all entries are due by June. Finalists will be named in mid-June and winners will be named in July.
The company is seeking one marquee sponsor, five co-sponsors and a media sponsor for the contest. The marquee sponsor will have the right to name the contest, set criteria, five press releases, and a 486×60-linked banner ad on each contest Web page. Co-sponsors have the limited right to set criteria, five press releases and a 234×60 linked banner ad on the Web site.
DataDetroit expects to generate a minimum of ten-thousand page views on the contest Web pages.
