Intellidyn Corp., Hingham, MA, said yesterday that it was selected to provide data and analytics for Viking River Cruises' customer acquisition efforts.
Intellidyn is an aggregator and provider of credit, transactional, demographic and behavioral business-to-consumer data. It will give Viking River Cruises transaction-level data that the cruise operator will manage in-house and use for prospecting campaigns.
Viking River Cruises targets consumers with offers for cruises along the rivers of Europe, Russia and China.
“Our approach is to use highly predictive, transaction-level data to identify known travelers — especially those known to take this type of excursion,” Intellidyn CEO/president Peter Harvey said in a statement. “Typically, when we create models for the travel industry, our clients experience booking rate increases three to five times greater than with their traditional marketing approaches.”
