Crocs hires Knotice for mobile marketing

Footwear retailer Crocs has selected digital marketing firm Knotice to run its mobile marketing programs.

The hire, announced January 19, comes as Crocs is expanding its agency roster to raise public awareness of the design of its core shoe products. In November, Crocs hired interactive agency Cramer-Krasselt as its global agency of record. C-K will spearhead a branding campaign slated to launch this year.

Knotice will work strictly on Crocs’ mobile marketing efforts, focusing on strategic planning and guidance.

“As the consumer, and mobile marketing, continues to evolve, it is crucial for Crocs to have both expert guidance and cutting-edge technology capable of everything from the most basic mobile programs to the most advanced,” said Jay Custard, global online marketing director at Crocs, in a statement.
