Convio, a provider of on-demand software and services for nonprofits, announced new tools that can help schools use the Internet to communicate more effectively with alumni and donors while driving increased giving.
The Austin, TX-based Convio is offering online constituent relationship management solutions to schools and related organizations. Through it, the institutions can use e-mail communications to learn more and better understand their alumni and donors.
Also, the organizations can do this by learning if they are connected to a specific school, program, class year, sport program or research project. They can then use this information to shape future communications that appeal to the targeted affinities.
Universities, college and related groups will be able to use Convio’s new software to manage and coordinate all e-mails across an entire institution, develop school or program-specific micro-sites, simplify gift designations, and increase donations with matching gift opportunities.
