ConsumerReview.com Inc. yesterday signed a deal with Yahoo to offer consumer-generated reviews on the Web portal’s shopping areas.
Consumers will now be able to read product reviews of golf and outdoor equipment in Yahoo’s shopping areas. These reviews, culled from ConsumerReview.com’s vast database, will include quotes and ratings.
The Yahoo shopping destination boasts 9,000 merchants spread over 15 retail categories.
The announcement comes less than two weeks after the Santa Clara, CA-based ConsumerReview signed a similar deal with West Marine, the nation’s leading retailer of boating supplies. Westmarine.com now incorporates consumer-generated sailing product reviews from SailingReview.com, part of the ConsumerReview network.
