An online business community encouraging companies to start or increase the amount of their e-commerce transactions is going to be designed by online business-to-business e-commerce company CommerceInc (www.commerceinc.com), Lexington, KY, using business information from Dun & Bradstreet, Murray Hill, NJ.
CommerceInc will create private-label, online directories to let users locate potential business partners or vendors. The directories are going to combine D&B’s business information on more than 11 million companies and be supplemented by e-commerce information generated by CommerceInc. They will be updated and submitted to major search engines, including Excite, Yahoo, Northern Light and Infoseek every day.
