Claritas Inc., a precision marketing solutions provider, introduced Claritas BusinessPoint, an online data source that matches and appends large business databases in real time.
BusinessPoint can match more than 500 business records per minute, the company said, and the matching also provides a score for each record.
Marketers can match their file to Business-Facts, Claritas' database of more than 12 million businesses. By using the matching results, customers can append detailed statistics in more than 35 attributes including sales, number of employees, primary contacts and brand/franchise codes.
Businesses then can see reports that describe the potential in new markets, or use their match results as a suppression file to remove customers from business lists accessed from Claritas BusinessPoint.
