Cenveo Inc. announced its acquisition last week of Waller Press, a Web and sheet-fed printer in San Francisco. Financial terms were not released.
According to Cenveo, Englewood, CO, Waller's equipment and capabilities will add web, sheet-fed and bindery equipment to service the northern California market. When the capabilities of Waller Press are coupled with the Cenveo Anderson Lithograph capabilities in South San Francisco, the company will be the largest commercial printer in the San Francisco area, Cenveo said.
The acquisition of Waller Press marks the second by Cenveo in recent months and a significant expansion of the company's West Coast presence and capabilities. Last month, it acquired Valco, a web and sheet-fed printer of direct marketing, publishing and promotional products.
