Centura Banks has signed a three-year deal with Tar Heel Sports Marketing that will enable the bank to advertise and provide sponsorship of the University of North Carolina’s varsity football games as well as men’s and women’s basketball games for the next three seasons.
Centura Banks, Rocky Mount, NC, will air ads during games on the Tar Heel Sports Network as well as on the football and men’s basketball coaches’ radio shows, daily drive-time shows, the Atlantic Coast Conference Hotline weekly call-in shows and March Monday Madness shows. The bank also will place banner ads on the official UNC athletics Web site, www.tarheelblue.com, and print ads in football and basketball home game programs.
The bank also will be the official sponsor of one home football and one home basketball game and will be able to install ATM machines in the UNC football and basketball sports arenas as part of the agreement.
