The Chicago Association of Direct Marketing named Betty Warden yesterday as recipient of the third annual Pat Wheelless Award for Outstanding Mentorship. CADM president Kelly Abeles will present the award during Bob Stone Education Day on Nov. 12 at Chicago's Westin Hotel.
Before starting her consultancy, Warden worked at The Signature Group; Foote, Cone & Belding/Direct; Marsh & McLennan Group and Direct Response Corp. For 10 years, she has coordinated DePaul University's Certificate Program in Direct Marketing, where she teaches as adjunct faculty.
A past president of CADM, Warden is executive director of the CADM Educational Foundation.
The award recognizes exceptional mentors in the Chicago DM community and is named for Pat Wheelless, its first recipient in 2001.
