*BusinessWeek Online Chooses ClickAction for E-Messaging Services

ClickAction Inc., Palo Alto, CA, a permission-based e-mail marketing vendor, is expected today to announce that BusinessWeek Online has selected its e-mail relationship management services to help the publication build increasingly profitable one-to-one relationships with hundreds of thousands of online subscribers.

BusinessWeek Online said it would send several million highly customized electronic newsletters to several hundred thousand subscribers who have requested information on specific subjects.

“We reviewed several e-mail marketing firms and felt that ClickAction had the best technology and management team to fit our needs,” said Andrew Portnoy, marketing director at BusinessWeek Online.
