PetroCosm Corp., an online business-to-business catalog for the energy industry, announced yesterday that it will build its own online catalog content management facility in Houston.
PetroCosm had partnered with Requisite Technology Inc., Westminster, CO, earlier this year to use its facility in Toronto. PetroCosm, however, decided that it wanted its own e-content management services to allow staff members to gather product and service information and bring them online.
PetroCosm officials said the catalog content facility will reduce catalog creation costs, shorten turnaround time for e-content delivery, enhance oil and gas e-content quality and make its e-procurement more efficient and profitable for buyers and suppliers.
