Brylane, New York, announced last month that it will change its name to Redcats USA.
The decision will not affect the brand names of the Redcats USA catalogs: Chadwick's of Boston; Lerner; Jessica London; Lane Bryant; Roaman's; King Size; Brylane Home; Brylane Home Kitchen; and Brylane Home Wishes.
“The change reflects our desire to build stronger relationships with our parent companies, Redcats and Pinault-Printemps-Redoute,” Brylane chairman/CEO Eric Faintreny said in a statement.
Redcats is the home shopping division of Pinault-Printemps-Redoute, which acquired Brylane in 1998. The name change will take several months to complete.
