SN Brussels Airlines has awarded a three-year contract to teleservices agency Sitel for inbound telephone support to the airline's customers in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Financial details were not disclosed.
The airline, based in Brussels, Belgium, hired Sitel to design and install new technology at the airline's call center in Brussels as well as to provide extra telephone agents from Sitel's call center in Brussels to assist the airline's own agents.
Sitel's customer service representatives will provide flight information and reservation services. Service initially will be restricted to telephone, though Sitel also will provide fax, e-mail and Web service for SN Brussels Airlines later.
SN Brussels Airlines flies to 36 destinations in Europe, including London, Geneva and Stockholm.
The airline is the latest overseas contract Sitel has snared recently. The company recently gained a contract to provide inbound telephone support for the taxing authority of Spain and added five years to its contract for inbound teleservices to the regional Flemish government in Belgium.
