BizWordz.com recently debuted its Web service that offers businesses access to a team of 10 public relations writers.
“We don't need a huge number of writers because they each have such diversified experience in all the fields,” said Roland McElroy, the site's founder. He said his writers specialize in speeches, opinion pieces, Web content, interactive media, video productions and book-length corporate histories.
Prices range from $300 per page to $800 per page, while some services require individual quotes. Businesses can order writing jobs and see the total cost before the order is submitted.
McElroy said the site is designed to help managers with reduced staff meet deadlines. He said promotional plans were being delayed because of market conditions.
