BEA Systems Inc., San Jose, CA, yesterday agreed to integrate its WebLogic Commerce Server with ClickAction Inc.'s Java-based e-mail marketing software.
The companies also agreed to co-market the ClickAction Enterprise Email Relationship Management for BEA product.
The combined product will provide customers the ability to manage their marketing campaigns, Web and e-mail promotions and customer information through opt-in, one-to-one e-mail messaging and targeted offers based on customer profiles, BEA said. ClickAction plans to begin shipping the new product in the third quarter.
