Longtime insert media professional Dean Barile has opened Media Advisors Group, an insert media company that he hopes to expand into a full-service marketing agency.
“We're starting with our core competency, which is insert media,” said Barile, who serves as president/CEO of his newly founded company. “We are looking to form strategic partnerships and hire industry professionals.”
Striking out on his own is something that Barile said he wanted to do for a while. He most recently served as a managing partner at American List Counsel, Princeton, NJ, but left that post in mid-October to start his company.
Prior to joining ALC, Barile served the insert media market at ClientLogic Specialists Marketing Services, Weehawken, NJ, and Mokrynskidirect, Hackensack, NJ. He is also a member of the Direct Marketing Association's Insert Media Council.
Barile named Mike Civitano as chief financial officer and said he is speaking with candidates for other positions at Media Advisors.
Initial clients include Dish Network, Sirius Satellite Radio and Liberty Home Protection.
