Ask Jeeves Inc., Emeryville, CA, and AppNet, New York, agreed to form a co-marketing and selling relationship yesterday. Under terms of the agreement each company’s sales force will actively promote the other’s. Financial terms were not disclosed.
AppNet develops electronic business services to promote electronic communication and commerce between business and customers.
Ask Jeeves’ natural language question and answering, and live help services will let AppNet’s business-to-business customers interact with its own customers on a personalized basis, AppNet said.
