America Online yesterday signed a five-year agreement to market Homestore.com’s real estate and home services on its Web sites.
The agreement includes a payment to AOL of 3.9 million Homestore shares and $20 million in cash.
AOL, Dulles, VA, will establish a home-related channel on its service that will offer its users access to Homestore’s database of apartment and new home listings, as well as moving, remodeling and furnishing information.
Homestore will exclusively provide real estate, moving and other home related services across AOL’s network.
