Angara, a hosted marketing optimization applications provider, is expected to announce today the availability of Angara Marketing Optimization Suite 2.0, which lets online marketers plan, enact and analyze their marketing initiatives across multiple online touch points.
Mountain View, CA-based Angara said the suite can improve the profitability of online marketing initiatives, including banner advertising, e-mail campaigns and Web site content targeting. It uses Angara MarketBASE, an online database of anonymous demographic, geographic and behavioral profiles on more than 100 million Internet browsers.
Brooks Brothers, an Angara customer, said it chose the application suite because of its ability to deliver results rapidly, both online and offline.
Fingerhut.com will use Angara's suite of hosted applications to leverage its existing investments in online marketing software technology. Angara lets Fingerhut present multiple offerings to visitors and analyze their effectiveness, automatically promoting winning offerings in real time. Fingerhut aims to improve its key success metrics, including the conversion rate of visitors to buyers, catalog requests and dollars per visit.
