American Airlines Tests E-Mail Products’ Awareness With Summer Promo

American Airlines, the nation’s No. 1 passenger air carrier, partnered with casino operator Harrah’s on a new Insider’s Deal sweepstakes as part of its summer promotional activity.

Entrants at http://www.aa.com/promo are encouraged to test their knowledge of Fort Worth, TX-based American Airlines’ e-mail products.

Through Aug. 24, American Airlines customers can enter the sweepstakes and sign up for the airlines’ e-mail communications including Net SAAver, Aairmail, AAdvantage e-Summary and AAdvantage promotions.

Five grand prize winners of the sweepstakes will receive economy class air travel and hotel room for two at Harrah’s San Diego.

Customers also stand a chance to participate in Harrah’s Total Rewards “3 Million on the House” event in September. One winner receives $1 million, another 1 million American Airlines AAdvantage frequent flyer miles and the third 1 million Reward Credits redeemable at Harrah’s casinos and restaurants.

American Airlines is celebrating 25 years of its loyalty program that paved the way for others in the aviation sector.
