Allstate Wins Phone Marketing Award

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The Direct Marketing Association gave its Telephone Marketing Excellence Award of 2000 to Allstate Motor Club, Arlington Heights, IL, at yesterday’s Telephone Marketing Conference. The DMA cited Allstate’s adherence to federal and state telemarketing regulations and its involvement in industry educational activities for its selection.

“This award supports the fact that quality outbound consumer sales is alive and well,” said Karen Burns, senior marketing manager for Allstate Enterprise Inc., who accepted the award on behalf of her company.

“Success to us is not just sales, but commitment to our customers… to provide quality and timely service.”

The award is usually given to individuals, but the DMA decided to honor

the entire corporation this year.

“The judges have decided to recognize the public image of a corporation and the contribution that corporation continues to make to the teleservices industry,” said Roberta Black, CEO of Dialog Marketing and the 1997 winner of the award. “This is a company that has been in business for 39 years, and it continues to be innovate and caring in its customer relations.”
