Alliance Data Systems Corp. and Wheaton Consulting Group said they will create new consumer database services and data products.
The first effort will be to help a major retailer with prospecting and customer retention through predictive modeling, according to the firms.
Dallas-based Alliance Data Systems is a provider of transaction services, marketing services and credit services. It processes 2.5 billion transactions annually and handles 72 million consumer accounts.
Wheaton Consulting, Chapel Hill, NC, provides direct marketing consulting as well as data mining and other related services.
