Alexander McQueen, the renowned luxury fashion brand, is hiring a U.S.-based Public Relations (PR) Coordinator. The role involves dynamic tasks such as managing editorial requests, product sample distribution to media representatives, influencers, VIPs, and stylizing sessions.

The successful candidate will be expected to prepare press releases, manage media inquiries, build strong ties with industry professionals, and monitor the brand’s public image. A firm understanding of digital and social media, exceptional communication, creativity, and organizational skills are critical for success in this role.

Additionally, the PR Coordinator will be responsible for managing media resource demands, synchronizing product orders with store teams, and compiling weekly media reports. They’re also required to plan and coordinate events, monitor product performance, prepare presentations, and build relationships with media partners. This role also requires maintaining an updated database of media contacts and closely tracking company growth and activities.

A broader scope of responsibilities includes managing credit requests, supervising coverage reports, maintaining press clippings, and updating the master press list.

They are also expected to strategize partnerships to increase brand visibility, manage crisis communications, and report on the effectiveness of PR efforts.

Desirable skills include teamwork, independent work ethics, a thorough understanding of industry trends, and strong multitasking abilities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Fashion GPS, along with prior experience in luxury fashion communications or public relations, is preferred.
