SSA Global, a provider of extended enterprise solutions and services, said yesterday that The AirMiles Travel Company implemented SSA software to reduce costs, gain more insight into customers and have more control over its loyalty programs.
AirMiles, a travel loyalty company in Britain, is using SSA Outbound Marketing, a component of SSA Customer Relationship Management, as the foundation for its new internal marketing process.
With 8 million customers and 100 partners, AirMiles needed more accurate insight into customer needs. AirMiles now can consolidate data from partners, travel booking systems and its customers to create a single view of customer behavior and demand.
AirMiles partners include Tesco, Shell, Scottish & Southern Energy, Interflora, Homebase and NatWest credit cards. And AirMiles' new online shopping site lets customers collect AirMiles with 80 online retailers.
