Internet marketing firm AgencyWeb has partnered with e-mail marketing technology company eWayDirect to power clients’ e-mail marketing platforms.
The partnership, formed about a month ago but announced December 22, will give AgencyWeb the tools for more sophisticated e-mail marketing.
“We’ve been looking for a platform for quite some time now that would allow us to take our e-mail marketing to a more one-to-one and segmented level,” said Mark Hughes, co-founder of AgencyWeb. “We hope to really engage our customers in a deeper conversation and integrate e-mail with social, which eWayDirect will help us do.”
Local Mojo, a firm that aids small businesses with do-it-yourself Internet marketing tools, will be AgencyWeb’s first client to use the e-mail offering, effective in January.
AgencyWeb will continue to work with StreamSend, its current e-mail marketing platform, for broader messaging.
EWayDirect was not immediately available to comment.
