Acxiom Corp., Conway, AK, announced Jan. 13 that the company had record revenue and earnings for the third quarter ended Dec. 31. Consolidated revenues for the quarter were $120,692,000, up 15 percent from $104,534,000 for the same period in 1996. Net earnings increased 26 percent, to $11,206,000. “We had a very good quarter. All of our divisions reported double-digit revenue growth, margins improved and we achieved our 25 percent earnings per share growth target,” said Charles D. Morgan, company leader. Also during the quarter, Fortune magazine selected Acxiom as one of the 100 best companies to work for in America. Selection was based primarily on an employee survey that evaluated trust in management, pride in work, pride in the company and camaraderie. Acxiom was ranked No. 38.
