First a show, then a computer game and now to further bank on the ratings grabber, ABC said yesterday it would make available on ABC.com an internet play along version of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.” The internet version will allow home viewers to log onto the site and play along with contestants as they watch the show in real time on ABC, complete with special quiz breaks when the on-air show goes to commercial. The internet tie-in is being produced by ABC’s Enhanced TV arm, which has previously been responsible for letting viewers log on and receive updated information during Monday Night Football telecasts.
