You know how when you do a Google search for a company or brand name, the first result that pops up is usually sponsored content from the brand itself? Well Google’s taking that to the next level, by displaying a giant banner ad from the brand when it gets included in a Google search.
Here’s what it looks like for Delta:
And here’s one for Best Buy:
Although it’s still currently in its test phase, some users are reporting seeing the giant display ads show up in their Google searches. Marketing Land has compiled a slieshow of screenshots for different brands’ banner displays, giving us a pretty good idea of what to expect when this feature is fully deployed.
