Customized e-mail news service InfoBeat announced Feb. 2 that it had struck a deal with club and franchise giant Cendant Corp. to market Cendantís online shopping service netMarket (www.netmarket.com) to InfoBeatís 2.3 million subscribers. Under the agreement, InfoBeatís home page (www.infobeat.com) will provide a link to a page that describes netMarket and offers InfoBeat subscribers a trial membership of three months for $1. After three months, membership in netMarket costs $69 per year. Also, InfoBeat will include banner ads pitching netMarket in InfoBeat subscriber e-mail.
