Leading Interactive Television software developer OpenTV, Mountain View, Ca. said yesterday that it has completed its acquisition of I-TV software company, SpyGlass, Inc. Under the terms of the merger agreement, stockholders of Spyglass, Inc. will receive 0.7236 of an OpenTV Corp. share for each share of Spyglass, Inc. common stock. OpenTV set-top box software has been shipped with or installed in more than 7.8 million digital set-top boxes worldwide and has been selected by 30 television network operators in over 50 countries.
